Dolphin Plaza Opens

Muscat - Yahya Group Holding opened its Dolphin Plaza shopping complex in Bausher on Thursday – the first step in the development of 322 residential units to be built in the area by divisions of the company by 2014.

Situated at the entrance to the Dolphin Village compound, the Plaza centre consists of a Snowhite dry-cleaners, Best Burger, Delfino Pizza, Al Bustan Bakery and Cafe, Gelo Fredo Ice Cream and an O Mart convenience store.

Natasha Yahya Nasib, the company's director and chief public relations officer, said that Yahya Group will develop its land in the area to include the extra homes and a 'multi-use complex' over the next two years.

She said, “As Bausher and Dolphin Village grows, we will provide further facilities by continuing to develop our land on Bausher street. In March 2012 we will open an additional 68 units in Dolphin Village, and will have 322 units upon completion in 2014.

“At the same time, we will build a state-of-the-art multi-use complex that we will introduce shortly.”

Tajamal Jami, general manager of Yahya Construction LLC, added that the development of the Dolphin Plaza complex was carried out in consultation with Dolphin Village tenants.

He said, “It was a pleasure to coordinate with the tenants so that we could build the shops to their specifications. This philosophy of cooperation between the builder and future tenants is a unique offering that we are glad to provide.”
